We’d like applicants from all rural NSW communities, including on farm positions, agricultural industries, rural businesses and community support workers.
In the past, finalists have included a dairy herd manager, agronomist, farm supply merchandiser, assistant accountant, beef extension officer, - so whatever your background, if you’re passionate about rural NSW, we want to hear from you.
Entry is open to both male and female NSW residents aged 20 – 27.

The top 30 applicants will be invited to an interview style judging session held in three separate regional locations, Wagga Wagga, Orange and Tamworth. The judging panel will question each applicant on their areas of interest outlined in the application form including rural and community involvement. Eight winning Rural Achiever finalists will be chosen to participate in the Award program.
